Title:  Structural Steel Field Foreman

Summary:

Our company is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Field Foreman to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of the
field crews in the fabrication and installation of structural steel for commercial and industrial
construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct field crews in the installation of structural steel components,
  including columns, beams, trusses, and girders.
• Coordinate and schedule all activities related to steel erection with project managers
  and other subcontractors.
• Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and
  OSHA regulations.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards for all work performed.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, time
  sheets, and safety reports.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for all crew members.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that
  work is progressing according to specifications and requirements.
• Identify and address any issues or problems that arise during the project, including
  changes in scope or schedule.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure that work is performed within budget.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in construction
  management or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel erection, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices related to steel erection.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
